Are you looking for custom patches, but don’t know where to start? Do you not know what size, style or colors you want for your patches?

Don’t worry. That’s what we’re here for. We’re patch experts, and we’ll be glad to help you design great-looking custom patches for any occasion, event, individual or organization.

It’s not hard to design custom patches. It just takes a little consideration of your style and your needs. We’ll walk you through the basics below.

Start by considering what you want your patches to represent. Are they a way to identify your staff, celebrate a special accomplishment or event, or express an opinion? Start there and you’re sure to come up with some ideas for the basic design.

Not sure what kind of design you want? Our graphic artists will be glad to help. Whether you want to recreate an existing design or craft something entirely new, we can handle it. We don’t charge for artwork or revision.

Once you have that, consider the patch size. That’s actually a critical part of the design. If your patch is too small, your artwork, and especially any lettering, won’t be legible. You want it to be big enough for people to see what it represents.

The size of your patches can determine which type of patch you order. The classic embroidered patch is our most popular choice, but the nature of embroidery limits the level of detail possible. Woven patches, which use a smaller diameter thread, can offer more detail in a smaller space.

For the ultimate flexibility in your design, consider PVC patches. Because the image is printed onto the material rather than stitched, this style offers the greatest level of detail available. This style also gives you virtually unlimited color choices as well.

Next, think about how you want to attach your patches to your garment(s). Sewing them on is the most secure way, followed closely by iron-on. While not appropriate for every material – and not usable for PVC patches --  iron-on patches are the easiest to apply.

If you need custom patches that you can easily remove and replace, or need to wear on multiple garments, Velcro® hook-and-loop fasteners are the answer. They make it a breeze to move patches from one place to another in an instant.

We even offer tape backing for single-use patches. No matter what you need custom patches for, we’ve got you covered.

That’s really all there is to it. With just a little bit of planning, you’ll get patches that perfectly represent your viewpoint or group. Call or email today and let us show you how easy it is to design great custom patches!
