Welcome to 2021! It’s a new year, big, bold, bright and brimming with new opportunities!
Hmpf, I hear some of you saying. Sure, it’s a new year, but what’s so great about it? We still have the same old problems – Covid-19, an uncertain economy and no idea about when things will return to normal.
True. But – we’re hanging in there. Covid vaccines are making their way to us all as you read this. The economy is showing some signs of better days ahead. And yes, there are new opportunities to be had if you know where to look.
And that’s the key – looking. If you sit back and wait for opportunity to come to you, it might not happen. You have to get out there in the marketplace and make opportunity happen.
Trade shows, conventions and conferences are going to return. Once enough people are vaccinated, that arena of commerce will resume. What can you do to be ready for when it does?
Visibility is a crucial element of success. What happens when you’re at the trade shows and your competition isn’t? You get your name out there, you get known. And that’s where customers come from.
People want to buy from a brand or company they’ve heard of, not a stranger. They like to associate a product with someone they know. That’s why you need ways to market your brand, to help people “get to know you.”
One way to do that is with custom patches. Anything from a simple shirt patch with a brand or logo on it to a large jacket patch gets your company, product or service out there. For some, it will reinforce a familiar sight. For others, it will be an introduction to the brand.
Either way, it makes you less of a stranger. It’s the start of a connection between you and prospective customers. And familiarity breeds one thing – sales.
