Ahoy, matey! Are you ready for Talk Like a Pirate Day?
It’s September 19. Be prepared to hear a lot of “arrr”-ful jokes. (Example: What’s a pirate’s favorite letter of the alphabet? The “C,” of course!)
It’s a fun day, one that allows for some genuine silliness and entertainment. And that’s a great thing. It’s a chance to express your inner Jack Sparrow, Anne Bonny or even Jimmy Buffett.
No matter what day of the year it is, there’s a special occasion of some sort. Some serious, some funny, some just plain weird. All are an opportunity to celebrate your individuality, and sometimes your group identity at the same time.
Guess what? Custom patches work exactly the same way. They’re an ideal means to promote your opinion. You can make a political statement, tell a joke, comment on society or just identify yourself via patches. And no, we’re not talking about a pirate’s eye patch.
