It seems the advertising industry has rediscovered the value of repetition. If you have watched any television or listened to commercial radio any time in the last few years, you know what I’m talking about.
“Call today, 800-xxx-yyyy. That’s 800-xxx-yyyy. Remember, 800-xxx-yyyy.”
And who can forget those ads from a few years ago for the headache remedy? “Apply directly to the forehead,” repeated three time in a grating voice. (Somehow, it was always more annoying on radio than on TV.)
For some reason, three is the magic number in these ads. Everything gets said thrice. I’m guessing it goes back to the old axiom about public speaking. Tell them what you’re going to tell them, then tell them, then tell them what you’ve told them.
Maybe you’ve even done this sort of thing in your own marketing. It’s a standard approach, nothing wrong with it. But have you ever considered that there just might be a better, more effective way to get your brand out there?
Yes, as you might expect, we’re talking about custom patches. Patches go everywhere. They let people see your logo, and can inspire questions to those wearing them. More patches, on jackets, jeans, sweaters, and backpacks mean more exposure.
And they do it in a way that’s a LOT less annoying. Think about it. All those repetitions get old pretty quickly. After a few times, people just tune them out whenever they appear.
Custom patches, by their nature, are far less intrusive. They’re a much more subtle reminder that gets your brand in front of potential customers. And as a visual reminder, they can carry more weight.
Remember, you’re not limited to ordinary colors with patches. You can make your logo stand out with bright, bold colors. Add metallic thread for a shimmer that’s hard to miss. Want extra bold? Go with neon-color threads. Those are impossible to miss!
If you prefer PVC or printed patches, you can have a photorealistic image on your patches. Showcase your product, logo or facility in the most brilliant way possible.
It’s easy to incorporate custom patches into your overall marketing strategy. You can still do the broadcast ads, print ads, internet ads. Put patches into the mix for a well-rounded, integrated approach that’s designed to reach the greatest possible number of customers. Multiply your media and you multiply your chances for success.
At the risk of repeating myself, you really can’t go wrong with custom patches for marketing purposes. Want to find out more? Call or email us for details!
