When It Rains, It Doesn't Always Pour

When It Rains, It Doesn't Always Pour

Rain’s coming. At least that’s what the little weather blip at the bottom of my monitor says. Not sure if I believe it, but that’s what it says.

Granted, the skies are darkening, and the wind’s picking up. But this is an afternoon in Florida – you never can tell.

Sometimes the rumbling thunder and occasional lightning mean a storm’s approach, sure. Other days, the wind picks up a little more speed and the rain blows right past us on its way eastward to the beach. Some days, we get a little in-between drizzle.

So I’m sitting here waiting to see what happens. Now, I’m of an age where my left knee has become a fairly reliable indicator of impending precipitation. And today it’s saying partly cloudy only.

(Don’t laugh, millennials. It’ll happen to you too, eventually.)

That old cliché about Florida weather – if you don’t like it, wait 15 minutes and it’ll change – really is pretty accurate. We can go from downpour to brilliant sunshine in that amount of time.

Chances are, you have at least some weather variations where you are too. And that’s why we offer a range of patch types.

Our embroidered patches are still our best sellers, and they’re pretty rugged to start with. They’ll give you years of solid, attractive service.

As great as they are, though, they will eventually fade with exposure to the elements. Our custom PVC patches won’t. And PVC patches have the added benefit of being both waterproof and highly detailed. They’ll give you a fantastic looking image in a style that you can depend on.

We offer other options as well, including woven patches and custom printed patches. No matter what style you need, we can help you find the perfect one for your application. Call us or email us today to find out more.

Oh, incidentally, the knee was wrong today. We got a little cloudburst while I was writing this. Oh well, it’s right about 70% of the time. That’s right up there with the TV forecasters.
