With Halloween just around the corner, and the holiday season fast approaching, have you considered your custom patch needs?
Probably not. They’re not usually a high priority this time of year. But that’s not to say they shouldn’t be. Custom patches can be an integral part of your marketing efforts around Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and even New Year’s.
Halloween patches, for example, are a fun addition to sweaters, jackets, backpacks and jeans. They make great giveaways, especially if your business caters to children in any way. You can even create limited edition, collectible patches to keep customers coming back each week for a new style.
Patches are an outstanding way to communicate your feelings about the holidays. Whether you want a patch that says “Happy Thanksgiving,” or “Thanksgiving is for Turkeys,” even “Merry Christmas” or “Bah, Humbug,” it’s easy to say it on a patch. Not to mention the ongoing rivalry between the two seasons – Pumpkin Spice vs. Eggnog.
Then there’s that timeless holiday classic. No, not that darn Mariah Carey song you can’t get away from. We’re talking about Ugly Holiday Sweaters! If your office is having a party, why not add an Ugly Sweater contest?
A sweater, whether cardigan or pullover, is an ideal canvas for a variety of patches of all sizes, colors and styles. The more the merrier! Deck the staff with funny patches, fa-la-la-la-la – oops, sorry, got a little bit carried away there. We’ll leave the singing to Mariah.
Seriously, your staff has enough stress with rush orders, inventory worries, grumpy customers and kids at home with a list for Santa as long as a roll of paper towels. Give them something to laugh about and watch that office spirit go up a little.
